High resolution ES-DMA quantifies AAV capsid DNA content by electrical mobility to mass correlation
Highlights:
• Parallel ES-DMA and CD-MS testing demonstrates electrical mobility of aerosolized rAAVs can be directly related to particle mass.
• Electrical mobility to mass correlation enables robust identification and relative quantification of empty, full, partial, and over-filled AAV capsids by ES-DMA.
• Accessibility of sub-nanometer sizing via high resolution ES-DMA suggests utility for analytics of rAAVs and other complex biologics.
